My Feet and the places they take me.

Mio, our exchange student who lived with us from Japan, sends us gifts from from time to time. In the last box she included socks, and they are my favorite. The socks are called toe socks, because in Japan people wear sandals like flip flops in their homes. I like these socks because I can give a thumbs up with my big toe.

These pics are using my feet to show things that are important to me as well as things I want to share with the world.

The first pic is of one of my dogs, Neo. This shows how much they appreciate me and it is just really cute how he is nibbling on my toe.

The second pic is of my mom, she is important to be because she raised me, yeahh!! She is always there for me, and teaches me how to be more creative all of the time. If I did not have her, I think I would be in an orphanage not going to Brazil.

The next shot is a video game called Midnight Club Los Angeles, (Special Edition). I like video games because if they are good enough, they will keep my attention for a long period of time. I once skipped a meal because I was having so much fun with my video games. My mom says I need to get out more, but its too cold and snowy for that. I tell her that I will get out more when it's summer and I can swim. Like I am going to swim in a frozen pool, hahahahah!

Next is a pic of an outlet, I took this because there are different types of outlets in Brazil and around the world. There is one outlet that looks like a spark plug. Bzbzbzbzbz... We have outlet adapters to take with us, they are really cool, you press a button and out pops the plug you need.

The next pic is of my tennis shoes covered in snow. I took this pic because the snow reminds me of what happens to our dogs when they get cold. They get little flakes on their black fur, mom says it is dandruff, from their skin being dry. They were left on the back deck because they were muddy, but now they are frozen and very cold. I will wait until they warm up before I wear them. Brrrr.

The last picture is of my foot next to my dads print in the snow. He made this when he left for work this morning. My foot is almost as big as his. He is like Big Foot, and that makes me SON OF BIG FOOT!!

I used my feet in these shots to balance them out. My feet take me everywhere I go, so I like the idea of using them to show what goes on in my life and what some of my favorite things are.

  1. Hi Austin,

This is a great entry; I love the photos and your socks. Don't worry, we would never let you end up in an orphanage - but I am glad you truly appreciate your Mom.

I hope you have a great trip to Brazil. I am looking forward to seeing your pictures and blogs.

    Much Love,
    Aunt Wendy
